PANELIST:

Sarai Czap, MSN, RN

Sarai has 13 years of teaching in an academic setting, with 19 years of clinical experience. She currently is the Assistant Department Chair and Nursing Instructor at Austin Community College. She has utilized virtual simulation in the classroom starting a decade ago. During the pandemic, she assisted the simulation team in rolling out virtual simulations to meet student-learning outcomes. Due to the success of using virtual simulation, Austin Community College will continue to use this type of modality and has collaborated with CAN-Sim on developing Virtual Simulation Games for use within their curriculum. Sarai is passionate about what virtual simulation can offer to pre-licensure nursing programs based on the positive results she has personally experienced within her own program.
